San Jacinto Anchor
A diver descends to the wreck of the San Jacinto, laying just outside the Fathom Five National Marine Park near Yeo Island. It is the most recently discovered wreck in the Tobermory area, found in the late 1980s by Paul LaPointe. The San Jacinto was operating in heavy fog while carrying a cargo of corn enroute from Milwaukee to Collingwood when she struck a rock on Manitoba Ledge in June of 1881.
