Kathleen Green thinks often of her son Kenneth "Boots" Green, a Tiger Force member killed in and ambush during Operation Wheeler in 1967. " I hate to say it but I think it was for the best," she said. "I know he wouldn't have been the same had he made it back" she said from her Show Low, Arizona home. "He had a terrible, terrible temper. He had an awful temper."
