Joyce Wood knew of the medals her late husband Don was awarded while serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. But she didn't know of his involvement with Tiger Force as he never spoke of it. Twice the Findlay, Ohio native attempted to halt attacks on villagers in 1967, including the killing of Dao Hue. Each time Wood complained to superior officers he was ignored. In frustration he transferred from the unit.
