Sailing Back in Time

On Friday, July 27th, 2007, the historic US Brig Niagara sailed into the port of Toledo. The War of 1812 replica ship was on mission to help raise funds for the Willis B. Boyer, Toledo's historic museum ship. Blade writer Ryan Smith and I sailed with the 30 member crew from Lake Erie's Middle Bass Island overnight to Toledo.
